  1. I don't disagree with you. But I do understand the need for a (relatively) small org like Plex to raise prices especially if that promotes better or consistent feature enhancement. With that said, what will turn me to the Dark Side is when price goes up with feature reduction (looking you Amazon, you piece of garbage). I want businesses who make decent products to be able to continue to do so. I also want to extract value from the price I've paid. What I do NOT want is to see orgs like Plex to be swallowed up in some corporate M&A that puts you back in trash heap like Amazon. What I think I'm trying to say is, I'd rather gamble and pay a Plex and hope they do the right thing than give the devil my money. There is, of course, the total DIY route, which I've done before (and am willing to do again) but would rather throw some loot towards Plex/HexOS which makes me fee like my money is better spent. At least that's the idea. Fcuk inflation BTW.

  3. ah pain. even though i don't use plex myself the increase in price will just make convincing friends to get a plex nas all the more difficult. Jellyfin works perfectly for me but to my friends that want to use their playstation as a client, its not a great option sadly

  4. It would be nice to to speed test to accurately measure: Network Throughput to the NAS: This tests the raw network connection speed, isolating it from storage performance. We need a reliable way to determine if our network infrastructure is delivering the expected bandwidth. Storage Pool Performance: Benchmarking the combined performance of a pool is crucial including sequential and random read/write operations. Individual Drive Performance: Testing individual HDDs, SSDs, or NVMe drives. This is vital for diagnosing drive health and identifying potential bottlenecks

  5. LOL...can we un/officially code name HexOS "KISS"? I'd settle for just the beta, but there's something there in the branding. Just sayin'...
