  1. Thanks, I do also like it a lot so far and the the rack will be getting a bit emptier in the future when I don't need the Synology any longer. Also liking HexOS so far but as it is not time-critical yet I am still sticking with the Synology for now and not diving fully into getting everything operational as I am still waiting to see which of the applications I will need will be supported directly by HexOS and which I will have to get running on my own. But it is fun to have something to tinker with in the meantime.

  3. Well...adding my new system to the pile, will replace my existing Synology DS920+ / DX517 sometime in the future, most likely with 1.0 release but remains to be seen when exactly. For now just to play around with, test and learn. Hardware: Case: Silverstone RM43-320-RS CPU/MB: Intel Core i5 14600K, ASRock Z690 Taichi Cooler: Thermalright Peerless Assassin 120 Mini Memory: 64GB Crucial Pro DIMM DDR5-5600 (2x32GB) PSU: 750 Watt be quiet! Dark Power 13 Storage: 128GB Transcend 110S M.2 (x2, boot drive); 2TB Crucial BX500 2.5" (x4, storage) Other: Lenovo 430-16i / Broadcom LSI 9400-16i SATA / SAS HBA Controller; NanoKVM PCIe Will also throw in some HDDs when it is time to replace the Synology, if the prices don't change drastically most likely 6 or 7 20TB Exos X20.
