  1. I agree with Ioannis statement. I have worked as a software engineer and I wouldn't even dream of telling something to our clients that its not 100% solid and coming in the next release. The more details you give the more potential you have for conflict and disappointment, for now I think they should cook and get the new team acclimated. After that form a plan and release a vague roadmap that gives them wiggle room to change course if needed. Now that does not mean that you cant have frequent updates , for example Anton Hand the main dev of the game Hot Dogs, Horseshoes & Hand Grenades does a weekly dev blog informing how the game is going. In my opinion he has done a wonderful job informing the players, but for sure it has given him some headaches . Whatever approach the team of HexOs decides to go for Im looking forward to future updates Peace!

  2. Cool i was in the Pipe-fitters Union for like 16 years, retired my book. Like i said above had to go back to HVAC to keep the wife happy HA! But my first passion was always sound and then controls. I work for TraneTechnologies that was the control side of Trane Corp. I moved from Arkansas to Florida in hops because of the music scene and the need for year round cooling HA!! Give a yell anytime.

  4. I definitely feel you on this. I simply ask for a little grace and patience with us in Q1. We were a 2-person organization not but 45 days ago and have already over doubled our headcount with additional hires on the way. Ramping up new team members takes time and our entire roadmap is shifting based on the level of investment we have received from customers. Providing a more comprehensive roadmap with estimates on delivery of functionality is definitely something we are going to do, but predicting how fast we can deliver with a substantially larger team while we're still ramping up isn't really tenable. We also have plans to hire a community manager this year, which will also greatly help with communications.

  5. I recently had an issue where my network switch was limiting my upload speed to 100mbps. It would be great to have a tool, sort of like speed test for testing internet speeds, but to test things like network speed, read/write speed for all the drives, etc. This would be especially helpful in the setup phase when you're choosing your configuration if it could give you that extra information about how fast your networking and drives actually are. And it would also be nice in situations like mine where I could see that the network was only downloading 100gbps, but I didn't know if that was my nas, the computer it was uploading from, etc.

  6. PLEASE add a one-click solution for a gluetun+qbittorrent docker image. Figuring out how to do it manually took almost a full day of me learning docker and figuring out configurations but realistically should be super simple. I know it isn't an already existing app but it absolutely should be because SOCKS5 basically doesn't work anymore because every tracker out there blocks their IPs. Also all of the videos out there explaining how to do it are either garbage, super outdated, or assume extensive knowledge with docker.
