Creative0100 Posted January 21 Posted January 21 so lets assume the Hex hardware fails in a build but data drives are fine. Is it as simple as replacing dead hardware, create a new Hex install ( and everything that goes with it), attach original drives and import the ZFS pool? Just getting my head around zfs as I havent really used it before. Quote
ubergeek Posted January 21 Posted January 21 That has been the case for a few of us, Ive changed hardware twice now and it jumped off without a hitch Quote
Creative0100 Posted January 21 Author Posted January 21 ok cool.. I assume the import is done via truenas rather than Hex at this time but the principal is correct? Quote
MSKenyon Posted January 23 Posted January 23 I would appreciate an answer too. I don't have a HexOS server yet, but this is a good question. Quote

It's a made up word that is easily understood to be "messed up" or, more plainly, "made a big mistake". Another reason it can be funny is it is similar to the name of the bad guy in "Back to the Future" 1 Quote
Sonic Posted January 31 Posted January 31 @Dylan, thx! I learn a lot on the HexOS forum. 🙂 Even improving my English skills. Quote
