Data on Hard drive that I'll intend to use

Hey guys,

I'm really new to this, but I already had a nas at home, and I've bought an 8tb drive for it so I used with the ext4 drive format. But when it broke down, I managed to save the data from it and convert it back to normal NTFS. So my question is, what drive format does HexOS use, and is there any way that I can just connect the drive and use it. Cause it will be very hard for me to copy the files from again and store it until it's configured.

HexOS needs minimum 2 drives so if that's all you have then it won't work.

You won't be able to add it to a storage pool and just use it with the data that is already there, you could connect it and copy the files from it (this will require going beyond just using the normal HexOS UI, you'd have to mess with terminal commands) to your storage pool if you have a storage pool with drive.
