yjchoi17 Posted 2 hours ago Posted 2 hours ago Okay, so I see in the latest (sept. 23 2026) blogpost that buddy backups and VM are both arriving this black friday. It's like we're getting what was supposed to be HexOS 1.1 and 1.2 in one big update, and that's really cool. So, the logical question should be...what's next? I'm really looking forward to ZFS AnyRAID, but that's somewhat out of HexOS' hands. Next thing I'd like to see is an automated backup and restore of HexOS itself. I believe backup and restore of truenas is as simple as exporting and importing a config file. Make that export (to a USB thumbdrive or email?) automatic. Maybe it's too simple to be called a headline feature of 1.3? What about HexOS' own dropbox-like solution? With desktop clients and possibly mobile apps... Anyways, whatever you guys have planned, I'm sure it's gonna be awesome. Thanks
