Mandolith Posted Friday at 06:28 AM Posted Friday at 06:28 AM I would like to install Nginx Proxy Manager, DuckDNS, the Arr's (Sonarr, Radarr etc.), Jellyfin etc. If these could be direct app installs, this would be great. 5 Quote
Pear-Programmer Posted Friday at 07:59 PM Posted Friday at 07:59 PM I’d like arbitrary docker apps as well. I was hoping for something akin to paperless and my own custom images. 1 Quote
jonp Posted Friday at 09:58 PM Posted Friday at 09:58 PM We're thinking of supporting the install of something like Portainer. Would that satisfy your needs? If not, what platform would you prefer? 4 Quote

I understand Docker but i find it useful to read a PreMade Template to understand requirements where i can build from it if i need to for additional directories variables etc 1 Quote

Portainer works for me, currently running on a Synology and a Ubuntu server, hopefully replacing both with one hexos box 🙂 so easy stack deployment via portainer would be good 👍 2 Quote
kielbasa Posted Friday at 11:30 PM Posted Friday at 11:30 PM I hope the HexOS team copies established platforms in terms of Docker Deployments. Docker and VM support are my primary items. Its really neat to be on the ground floor of the project. I'm looking forward to nerding extra hard this weekend Quote

K5KGT Posted Saturday at 10:39 PM Posted Saturday at 10:39 PM I'm assuming we'll be able to install Docker images aimed at TrueNAS Scale? Or does every app need something different for HexOS? Quote

Noxsicarius Posted Sunday at 08:14 PM Posted Sunday at 08:14 PM What about running docker compose files? Is that currently possible, or at least be able to be implemented. Quote

Portainer seems like a good solution for now as I'm practicing data engineering beginning tasks, but I’d like the option to interact with Kubernetes outside of Portainer for more advanced use cases. Is there a way to manage Kubernetes directly while using Portainer? Quote
