hot and cold storage automations

I know it would probably be a big project and there is still a lot of work to do on the current build.
But if you could add some kind of hot/cold storage automation wizard that would be awesome.

After doing a little research, I might try the following and see if it will work:
setup a Z1 pool of ssd's and a Z1 pool of hdd's, then use MergerFS to manage the hot/cold storage
