dafzthomas Posted Thursday at 01:11 PM Posted Thursday at 01:11 PM I have a PC I built in 2016 with M.2 nvme boot drive and a bunch of SATA drives. I uses a 6th gen Intel CPU. If I built a new PC, and moved all the storage media over (plug and play), would that work? Hoping to keep all the storage media without a "migration" and eventually get a better nvme drive to clone the boot to. Feasible? Quote
Sonic Posted Thursday at 02:02 PM Posted Thursday at 02:02 PM This should work. I suggest that you first move your drives as to the new system. And I it works, then clone the boot drive. I know @ubergeek migrated his drives in a new system more then once. I you search in this forum on his name, you will find more guidance. 1 Quote
