Man, I've spent all day in my attic with a contractor trying to figure out how to update the 30 year old cabling that is my house. Why? Because I have a new NAS, new mesh router system and a fun new OS. And feeling a little remiss that I've not been able to get online much recently.

Yeah, I try and use a little equipment as I can. I've seen how deep the home lab rabbit hole goes. It ain't pretty and I can't afford it. 😜

Ya know the cool thing about home labs today is you don't need all the enterprise grade hardware as it use to seem. A few SFF systems pull a premium while maximizing space and power usage. I remember when we have 4 2u servers stacked in a closet
