Hardware license question

Hello Quick question. Suppose I buy a lifetime license. And I decide to put it on my old nas. After trying it out If I end up liking it and want to transfer it to a new NAS, would that be a problem? In addition, if the new one has a motherboard issue or anything in the future and I replace the bad hardware, can I rebuild the server without a problem? I'm just curious what the "Lifetime License per server" covers. Is it just one server at a time? Or locked to hardware or something like that?
