Video file hosting, not streaming - suggestions?

So in before, I'm an Audio-Visual technician, not IT.. but I'm trying! 😉

Waiting for some storage for an old PC in lieu of getting my licence activated to setup a NAS for video file storage and sharing of projects within our 5 person team, and one of my colleagues popped the question - can we use the NAS for sharing completed files to end clients? Now I'm sure there is a way, but with my limited knowledge would there be a way of setting up a HexOS NAS in a 'WeTransfer.com / WeSendIt.com / oshi.at' fashion where a link can be provided which has a time limitation on validity on it, possibly password protected/have email feedback when downloaded?

Will keep on researching, but thought it wouldn't hurt to ask the question! Thanks in advance.

I think you can do this with nextcloud but you  would need to do some extra effort to make it work.

Ive shared Photos and 1 Min videos from the share function in Immich. Which is not what you really want but it would require similar setup. I use a reverse proxy to point to Immich and to handle the SSL Cert.

The same setup could be done with Nextcloud though ive never used it myself

Its one way of doing it.
