  2. Timing is perfect for this topic. I appreciate you all waiting until 2025 to bring this up. The road to 1.0 blog post was just a way to set our targets out there. We didn't communicate a specific timeline because we honestly had no idea how much to estimate we would sell at launch, which would directly in turn impact our ability to expand the team and impact our timelines. We just felt that, conservatively, we would do well enough to deliver the blog post roadmap in 2025....yeah....we had no idea what was about to happen ;-). Beat our expectations by about 5x. With the success we've had, we just onboarded three new people to the company in the past 30 days, with a goal of bringing on at least two more developers in 2025 as well and potentially a few other admin hires. This has completely thrown our previous "back of the napkin" roadmap out the window. Let's just say, we're not going to be talking about features just for 1.0 anymore. You guys have given us enough runway to plot out PAST 1.0. Give us a little more time to get our bearings as we onboard new staff, prepare new development environments, implement new systems, and role out our first software updates. More communication coming soon.

  3. Hello, I just bought HexOS in hopes for saving up money one-day for a NAS of my own to host my own Jellyfin server. I just wanted to voice my interest to try to help towards getting it pushed up in priority. Linus if you can help with NAS suggestions I would appreciate it.

  4. I paid for HexOs a while ago and was slowly gathering parts for it just to figure out you can't create a pool with 1 storage device thats upsetting to hear since I bought a 4tb hdd and don't want to buy more. Is this a issue to be resolved soon or do I need to bite the bullet and get another driver or I could always learn TrueNasScale

  5. Well I've stepped in after 3 iterations of access control. It all use to be IEI keypads and mag locks. Then they swapped to amano, thoes went EOL with no path to a simple upgrade now we run Panasonic software with Lp1501/pl1502 boards from Mercury. I enjoy it more than I should. But every chance I get to tear down and rebuild a box I take the chance

  6. That's a sharp looking chassis. I'm going to have to check some reviews as I wonder how loud that thing gets as full HDD capacity.

  7. I agree with that! I bought the AMD version of the WTR Pro, and I’m very happy with it! A great choice.

  9. You should throw caution to the wind and start by getting a case with plenty of drive bays... Perhaps something like the Sliger CX7302. (10) trayless 3.5" bays, (4) internal 2.5" mounts, 3U rack mountable x 18" deep, Micro ATX, SFX/SFX-L PSU, color choices for the front panel... its a slick little chassis. https://sliger.com/products/rackmount/storage/cx3702/

  10. I would love for there to be a really clear layout as to what's happening/planned for the future and roughly when we can maybe expect it. I get that life's probably still a little crazy back there but it would be nice to just have a rough idea of when the features that im particularly looking forward to can be expected.

  11. Don't you worry! We have plans for you brave testers out there to keep you on a "beta" track that lets you test out the goodies as we're building them. Basically we will have feature-tagging so we can enroll certain users in new beta features for testing before they are ready for the stable track. When we get to that phase, more will be revealed 😉

  12. Where can I begin lol, I use tailscale at work and home. Currently have it set at both of my parents house for their android TV " ONN tv boxes" and they both exit out of my house so we can get around the netflix hulu sharing drama. I also keep it on my phone "Samsung" for the DEX feature that allows me to remote into any of my servers either at the office or the ones my friends have allowed me to collocate at their house. I have also allowed friends and fam access to my now Hexos box for their backups and now plex services . I know that the way i use tailscale is just the tip of the iceberg in what it can do , but all i need is it to be simple

  13. Hi @pearson.lucas Do they behave as a single unit? Meaning, is there a single OS instance that runs both boards? And welcome!!
