Refund?

After doing more research I have decided to just run proxmox I contacted the team using the contact button but it's been 3 days and I have not heard anything back nor received a refund/canceled order.

I'd just send an email instead support@hexos.com, and it's a small team managing thousands of orders so I'd honestly expect a slower response time.

same boat as you. Sent an email 3 days ago. I will wait a bit longer, I am sure they are swamped w/ emails and are trying to address everything.

Expect 5-7 days for response and you still have plenty of time for a refund. The 30 days won't start counting until you get the invite if that's what you're worried about.

I think there was mention of a E-commerce issue resulting in some users being double charged for their licenses initially. I'd imagine these refunds are probably being prioritised over others while the team is under pressure.

I have since installed TrueNAS… was up and running and copying files in 10 mins, including installation time.   Got caught up in the hype and discounted price. 🤦‍♂️

We refunded your purchase on Thursday December 5th.  It takes 5-7 business days to process, but we didn't do a great job of communicating that latter part.  Apologies for that.

I honestly did most of my config through Truenas as all my apps are not yet available as one click installs through HexOS and i still do not regret my purchase. I like the projects potential and although i was capable of figuring out the issues i had i know there are many who would have just given up and i know I'm only going to continue going further towards that side as i get older.

Welcome aboard! I think if there is a single thing folks tend to forget, it is the context that HexOS, and joining when we did, was an investment in a technology that would grow over time. I too will continue to go further as I get older. Have fun and best of luck!
