Hi,

very nice update, here are some points of feedback:

On the Immich app, it showed the button "An updated configuration is available for this app", which I clicked. Afterwards, my Immich instance wouldn't start up again. I looked into it on the truenas interface where the server container wouldn't start but instead display long error messages before crashing. I noticed that the data storage path was moved from "Host Path" to ixVolume. After I changed it back to the original path, everything worked again. If the switch to an ixVolume is intended, I'd like to have the option (in HexOS) to choose a host path instead, as I want to be able to access my photos via the smb share from another pc.

I guess, my trouble with the immich app could have been avoided, if the update notification in the HexOS interface showed the changes clearly, instead of the generic "This will reset every change you made in TrueNAS" message that pops up right now.

Also, I installed Nextcloud before it was curated on HexOS, so now I would be interested in migrating my installation to the curated version (without uninstalling and re-installing the app). I tried using the configuration update button, which (expectedly) did not do anything.

Thanks very much this comment just helped me fix immich after my update saved me a lot of poking around.

after installing the update my 2 of 2 HDDs are both saying they've failed. Previously worked with 0 issue before the update, even yesterday they were working fine with new files uploaded.

So my update to 25.10.1 - Goldeye was uneventful with no errors reported and all apps and VMs seeming to function perfectly. Great job guys!

Now in the interface I see this alert for a few apps:

If I click the update now button I then have this warning:

I was wondering if this was the way to migrate from TrueNAS installed apps to curated ones? Is the process safe?

I did this as a test with Radarr and it completely reset everything.
Had to redo mounts, set the new API Key everywhere etc. Bit annoying and unfortunate, won't be doing it with Sonarr etc as I did a ton of stuff in there unless it's absolutely necessary.

The UI wants me to update the configs for Sonarr, Jellyfin, Radarr (done this one as it's the least used of my curated apps) and Prowlarr.

Oh wow! I could understand the mounts (if different than the default locations). The rest like API keys are a bit confusing unless you weren't able to reconnect to your previous database. It would be nice if the interface perhaps showed a comparison between what the existing configuration is and what the updated one looks like so that changes could be minimised before updating. That way, if I have to move a mount manually before the upgrade I would do that so that once the update is done everything works exactly as before I switch to the curated version.

I figured it'd keep the DB etc, but it was like a fresh install unfortunately. I specifically chose Radarr to try it, as I only added a couple of movies and did not set up much.
If I had to do the above for Jellyfin and Sonarr it'd be a real hassle.
Though I should note that I did not make a backup from Radarr beforehand (via GUI) so I didn't try the restore after - if you did that you probably could restore the library at least after you restored the mounts.

i did it with jellyfin, where i had to set it up again (tho content was still there), then i wanted to do it with qBittorrent because its basically default for me, but i cant even update it because it will always throw this error
