DartSteven Posted Sunday at 10:07 AM Posted Sunday at 10:07 AM Hi everyone! I wanted to create this thread as a friendly space where we can all introduce ourselves and get to know each other better. Whether you’re new to the community or you’ve been here for a while, feel free to stop by and tell us a little about yourself—your hobbies, interests, or anything you’d like to share. I’ll go first to kick things off: Hi, I’m Stefano 🙂 I’m a tech enthusiast and a bit of a nerd. I absolutely love exploring new technologies and working with Linux, especially when it comes to configuring servers. Experimenting with different setups and solving technical challenges are some of the things I enjoy the most. Outside of tech, music plays a huge role in my life. I’m a big fan of jazz and R&B for their smooth and soulful vibes, and I also love metal for its raw energy and power. My taste is pretty eclectic, and I enjoy discovering new artists and sounds. I’m always curious and eager to learn, whether it’s about technology, music, or something completely new. I’m looking forward to meeting all of you and hearing your stories—so don’t be shy! Jump in and introduce yourself. Now it’s your turn! Feel free to share as much or as little as you’d like. We’re all here to connect and learn from each other. Welcome aboard! 2 1 Quote
Vroar Posted Monday at 05:09 PM Posted Monday at 05:09 PM I'm Jens, i live in Belgium and I'm currently studying network and system administration. Obviously my interests are pretty PC-oriented, but apart from that i do enjoy listening to various music. I'm glad i found out about HEXos early on so i can start from scratch. i usually feel overwhelmed by all the available options in existing relatable software/OS's. 😄 Anyways, back to waiting for my license mail to arrive "hint-hint" 😄 catch y'all later! 1 Quote

Watched the LTT video decided to buy a license , I am Pro license holder of unraid since 2005. I like this simplicity of the permissions and the robustness of truenas what is really eating my grapes is why JonP left and I assume several other unraid peeps 1 Quote

Sriganesh Kaniarasu Posted Tuesday at 05:36 AM Posted Tuesday at 05:36 AM Hi, my name is Ganesh, I’m from Ontario, Canada. Back when XBMC was still called Kodi, I used to set up servers on an old Toshiba laptop that was handed down to me by my older sibling. Over the years, I’ve accumulated a lot of files on my computer and have always wanted to create a NAS backup device. However, I’ve been putting it off because it’s a lot of work, and I’ve been moving between campus and home for quite a few years now. I recently watched an LTT video, and the simplicity of this OS and the early access price finally motivated me to take the plunge Just before Dec 2 midnight 😄 I’m excited to see how developers will take this project forward! 🙂 1 Quote
