I second this! Would love native Tailscale support.

I don't see why a partnership should mean it's off the table - they support Synlology and QNAP after all. Tailscale doesn't have to expressly partner with/support HexOS directly, just be compatible (which the Debian-based SCALE should be, from memory!)

Tailscale is available on TrueNAS, so it may also be available from HexOS. However, if HexOS doesn't build it in, you should still be able to access the TrueNAS platform, although it might take a bit of work.

I am planning on getting tailscale running myself. I have enough Linux experience that I'm not really expecting problems.

Tailscale as soon as possible would be preferred, as my ISP has paywalled port forwarding behind static IPV4 purchase for 10 usd per month

Both tailscale and jellyfin are planned - shown on the hexos.com page 👍

Where on the page is tailscale mentioned? I can't find it. This is the big feature I am interested in to avoid cloudflare zero trust or a dedicated domain name for access outside my network

I would like Tailscale to be an app as well.!

Is there a place to show planned apps for exOS? Or a place to vote for them?
