ScottC. Posted 7 hours ago Posted 7 hours ago I have three applications installed, via TrueNAS admin, that show up on my HexOS control panel. HexOS correctly identified that there were updates available for all three. HexOS gave me an "update" button, which I used. Unfortunately, the apps were disabled, but HexOS attempted to upgrade them anyway and it got stuck in a loop, saying that the apps were updating when they were not. Logging into the TrueNAS admin portal, I could see the warning/error that the apps need to be running to perform the update. Starting the apps fixed the issue, There should be a check in HexOS to verify that the apps are running before triggering an update. Warn the user that the apps need to be running and then not attempt to trigger the update. Quote
Todd Miller Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago That's weird. Maybe disabled is the key because I have one app stopped and I don't get an upgrade option for it until I start it. TrueNAS seems to know the difference so I wonder why it even gave you an option. Quote
