Thank you for posting this - even though I don’t personally have the skills to fix this, it helps to know something at least about what’s going on behind the scenes.

there’s a dedicated thread to this elsewhere on the forum with a number of other people having the same issue - as soon as I have a chance I will link them to your post since they haven’t had any responses posted there acknowledging what might be causing the issue.

@mill3000 please find the thread he is talking about and let’s get a bug report to the dev team on it.

Great update, thank you. I was not able to access (from february) HexOS without claiming and deleting HDDs. Now it is working again.

But there was another little bug after the update. I did not see my apps in Truenas Scale UI. To fix it, i had to claim the server again in HexOS.

Heya, I'm glad to see you can finally skip and manually configure the storage pool after claiming the server! I had been waiting to use the HexOS dashboard since I already had a storage pool created in TrueNAS and don't have any external storage for 26TB, but when I went to import it from TrueNAS, the dashboard shows as no storage pools present, but it does show no free drives. Any ideas? I am on TrueNAS 25.04.1, so maybe that's causing the issue.

I reclaimed my server today, albeit having to disable 2FA in TrueNAS for the privilege of doing so. Had to generate a new server ID, after which my server become visible again.

Claiming went smoothly, my single drive pool and my raid-z pool showed up without any issues. My data, metadata and log vdevs still show up as unused though.

I do not get an update notification though. The server is still running TrueNAS 24.10.1, to which it was updated manually via TrueNAS. I was hoping to do future updates via HexOS only.

Thank you for this feedback.  So you are saying that on the Activity card on the dashboard, you don't see any notification about updating to 24.10.2.2.  This is definitely a case we need to track.  @mill3000 please connect with this user and get any info you need to open a bug report with the dev team.

@Creeju if you can hold off updating manually to 24.10.2.2, we'd like to see why your server is not seeing the HexOS update available.

At the top of the forum page there is a "Download HexOS" link.  It will take you to a readme that contains the links used to download HexOS.

That is correct. I did not receive a notification for 24.10.2.2. I did receive a notification for 24.10.2.3 (Created at: Jul 15, 2025, 1:33:36 AM) though. So it might not show currently available updates when linking up. I have yet to update, so if I can give you any information, I would be happy to help.
