  1. Users licenses are saved under the email address you select when purchasing. Think of a Google or Apple account. We keep track of the amount of servers you link which takes a license. You can remove the link to a server which then adds the license back. You can buy now and use anything time..
  2. We don't have hardware to test more of the advanced setups. It would be a lot of effort and time and costs to do this. We rely on trying to find things online for support for TrueNAS Scale since we are focused on making the interface and not the hardware. In the long run I think most of our users will max out at 2.5 to 10 GB nics. Probably between 4 and 7 drives. This is where we focus because the when you start going to more advanced setups those users will just use TrueNAS. Now I do see down the road we may have some features that are so easy to use along with a killer apps system that they may just buy for that.
  3. Intel cards are well-supported by TrueNAS Scale. With that said I can't guarantee it but it should. Once you install it you'll have to update a few things if this isn't going to be a new install. On the server once fully booted you'll have to go through options 1 and 2 to make sure it knows to use the new network card. Once that is set you can log into the new ip address for the TrueNAS UI. Once in there you'll want to update the network settings to make sure the settings are correct for the new network card. Last step is edit the HexOS app in the app section of TrueNAS. You need to update the ip of what your TrueNAS was with the old network card to the ip of the new network card (Ip with TrueNAS WebUi). Just go down till you see a setting with the old ip and update to the new then scroll to the bottom to save it. Hope this helps. Thanks for supporting HexOS.
  4. Thanks for the suggestion. We probably won't be able to look at doing this till after buddy backup are out. I'm not sure if they only show the connected ones or have an advanced toggle that would let you hide them indevidually. Thanks again for supporting HexOS!
  5. Thanks for posting your experience. Sorry you ran into that issue. We feel immich is a very important app. We are working towards ways of making apps as reliable as possible.
  6. Anyone still looking for their email to be changed please email support@hexos.com with their existing email account and the one you want to change to. Thank you.
  7. Originally the reason for making all the apps a SambaShare was because sometimes users needed access to edit or change something in the apps directory. This is not something TrueNAS does but we were trying to make it easier for normal people who wouldn't know how to get into those folders and edit a file if they needed. It's still something we discuss if it's still something we need to do or maybe we should just hide it since we're on our way to building a whole apps system.
  8. @da.rencan you also send me some times for tomorrow? Again in CST that we can do a Google meet?
  9. @Maximus do you have time to do a Google meet tomorrow? We are in the CST. Can you send me over sometimes that would work for you and we can set up the appointment.
  10. Yes that processor does not meet the minimum specs unfortunately.
  11. AnyRaid is not released yet. When it gets released by the ZFS people it has to be adopted first into TrueNas. So just a guess is that it probably won't be here till next year. There won't be a way to convert to it. You have to start from scratch so you'd have to copy off all the data from your existing system to something and then format the drives as AnyRaid. Then copy the data back over. Thanks
  12. Hello. If your boot device fails just install a new boot drive. Reinstall with the HexOS USB stick and install to that boot drive. Once it restarts and boots up it would probably be best to log into your to trueNAS and do the OS update. Have it reboot. Once up and running login to the hub of HexOS and unclaim your server so you have a license to use. Then select the add server option and reclaim your server. Skip the drive setup options so you can set up manually. Usually HexOS sees your existing data automatically. Sometimes you have to resetup your apps. In few instances you have to do an import in TrueNas for it to see your previous data volumes. When it auto detects it HexOS sees it which is most of the time. And in rare instances TrueNAS doesn't see it and that import option has to be done. This is just the general overview.
  13. We've added everyone from our list. We'll start to migrate people based on the order of purchase to local UI.
  14. I messaged the user. Thanks for the shoutout!
  15. Thanks for posting what you found. I informed a team member to review this. If everything is in order, they will submit a ticket to IX (TrueNAS) for the next system update. We appreciate all the members helping out to make HexOS better for everyone. One of the postives of the internet and forums that don't get appriciated enough.
  16. Hello, One way that could fix this is to do the following. Update to TrueNAS version 25.10.2.1. which applies permanent resource limit fixes. Thank you
  17. Try the following. Most likely this will fix your issue. If this does, TrueNAS has a fix that is in it's next update. Login to TrueNAS interface. Left side select "system". Then after screen refreshes select "shell" from the list. Paste in the following command. *Can't use normal short cuts* Will need to use Shift + Insert Key for pasting. sudo python /usr/lib/python3/dist-packages/middlewared/scripts/vendor_service.py If that works within about 1 min you should be able to go to deck.hexos.com and see your server or claim it. You might need to run this after reboots. Let us know if this works. Thank you,
  18. Hello. Thanks for writing us. We currently don't have a student program but please reach out next year and we hopefully will have a program in place. Try to save your allowance up as it's going to be more than $5 but a lot less than the $299 it will be at that time. Good luck with your studies. HexOS Team

    Refund

Hello. I looked up isaacerrols@gmail.com and you have an account but no license on it. There is no account under dewitt71@hotmail.com. I couldn't find any else doing a search for your first and last name. Sorry.
  20. No problem. Sorry again for not seeing you post. Happy New Year!
  21. Hello, We just processed the refund for the 2 pack you purchased. Please give it 5 business days for the credit to show up. Apologies for the delay in your refund. We appreciate you supporting HexOS. Happy holidays.
  22. Yes, we currently rely on TrueNAS to add drivers, as they control the kernel, and we want to rely on their system to support new hardware. It does take them about 6 to 12 months from when drivers that are added get tested and make it through their testing channels. We probably won't spend time looking into this until we get the basics added to HexOS.
  23. Appreciate everyone taking the time to participate in the forums. It helps us and other users. Thanks 😀
  24. Can you put the error and some screen shots in the feedback option in HexOS so I can address it with the team please?
  25. Thanks for a link to the post.
