Dylan Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 Time to replace my 10yo 2x2TB (original WD's) NETGEAR ReadyNAS. Just bought the N100/16GB version of the Aoostar WTR Pro (haven't settled on which disks to use, yet) I really only use my NAS for storage and streaming. That little 2 bay netgear with an ARM quad-core 1.4GHz processor and 2GB RAM did everything I needed. Now, with this new hardware that comes with Win11, I need to settle into a new NAS OS and hoping HexOS can be that for me. Lifetime for $99? I'm in! 2 Quote
madman Posted November 29, 2024 Posted November 29, 2024 I am also looking forward to have HexOS incorporated into my home lab as an easy storage manager. I think most of us want an easier management interface and installation platform. Home labs should be fun, useful and not a burden of time. 1 Quote
