Hexos will support active directory function?

TrueNAS supports Active Directory. See this link for an explanation:

Whether HexOS will support this, I doubt it. Maybe at a later stage. Active Directory isn’t really something for HexOS's target audience. That would quickly fall into the advanced category.

@jonp, are there any ideas on this that can be shared? And "no" is also an answer 🙂 . I know you guys are busy.

We have no plans to support Active Directory directly through our UI at this time. Users who want AD support should probably be using native TrueNAS as permissions management won’t be the same once AD is introduced.

Active Directory is LDAP is poor disguise.
