(Understandably this will be in the future)

from my understanding Hex is meant to be a simpler/beginner friendly OS for NAS.

and as one of the people who bought it specifically for it it would be really cool if there were official tutorials to set up different apps, etc. Most of the basic are already pretty easy to do but sometimes I get confused and when I try to look up tutorials I just find explanations for other OS and they don't seem to be the same steps.

The videos themselves don't even need to be high budget, can just be someone looking at their screen explaining it lol

What tutorials would you like to see ? I could crank some out

Hey sorry for the late reply, didn't see the notif!

thanks for offering. I don't have anything specific in mind but some possible ideas could be:

-How to set up X App

-How to upgrade the system

-Troubleshooting a problem

-One of those "top 10 interesting things about hexos" or "things you can do on it you might've not known"

-Maybe more advanced things done through truenas?

For example, I tried to set up tailscale to access my files outside my home but I wasn't able to properly configure it, and all the videos I found were either not helpful or for other OS. Same thing with some codec issues with plex.

Thanks again! @ubergeek, if you happen to make anything let me know/link it and ill def check it out.

On the updates one. Currently I believe all updates just happen on their own as they are pushed out, with the odd one needing a system restart. I know the team are working on an Update/Upgrade UI for the OS within HexOS which I think I read somewhere is roadmapped to coincide with V1 (but i could be wrong there)
