Mesed around with the network configuration, don't know what (I know my way around tutorials but not tech sabby at all)  Dashboard connects but loops infinitely, trying to diagnose itself I guess,  tryed to reinstall but also loops on a "Console Setup" menu, briefly shows "FAILED" task before turning off.

This is what I get when I shut down my functioning system. I don't think it's great to get a bunch of failures on shutdown, but as far as I can tell this is to be expected so probably isn't relevant to your issue.

Guess the problem I created was somewhere else, but I ended up installing a linux server image onto the OS drive to wipe it and then reinstall HexOS over that, worked as a fresh install.

Mind it I didn't have data on the pool drives from the first HexOS install so I don't know if the same drives could be just reconnected to the new HexOS install and the data be intact there (Fresh install still prompted that the pool drives would be wiped).

Now my only issue is that the IP keeps looping between 3 different directions even though it is a wired connection that had the same IP all of 2024 on a linux server for MC. Hoping to have the weekend free to dive into that.

What does this mean? Three different IP addresses?

It goes from 192.168.1.XYZ to ZYX to XWS about every 2 or 3 seconds from one to another. I don't know what tells what to do, but It is my understanding that at least for wired connections the IP should stay the same once connected unless power loss, resetting or things like that.

IPS is starlink,

@ViktorMizzael - That is uniquely strange behavior. I'd really look into what is going on with your router (assuming it is using DHCP to assign IP address's and that is why it keeps changing)

In the interim, can you statically set the IP of your device in your router in an attempt to prevent the IP from changing?

At a minimum, I'd check if there are either router updates or other settings that could be causing IP to change like that...never heard of that happening.

Lemme know what happens.

After powercycling everything  (router, antena, server, PC, laptops, main panel, instant heater and water service) turned out to be the Starlink Router (Gen 2) but it had to be JUST the router, doing it along the antena didn't do anything.

Thankfully I do not have to learn networking and acronyms the whole weekend to fix this.

That is cray-cray. Super glad you got it sorted out but...dang....WTF starlink? 😆

I'm not gonna complain, it could be worse, at least starlink has a phone app that is somehow usefull... every other app from Mexico ISP are just basically to pay the service and a chatbot to place a visit from a technician.

I get it. I've lived in Central America and know how dodgy ISP's can be.
