I'm testing HexOS on two completely different machines.

1. HP EliteDesk 800 G2 TWR

  • CPU: Intel Core i7-6700 @ 3.40GHz (4 core)
  • Memory: 16 GB (2x 8GB)
  • Boot: 256GB SATA SSD
  • Data: 2x 2TB WD RE4 (WD2003FYYS)
  • GPU: Integrated (Intel HD Graphics 530)

2. HP Z840 Workstation

  • CPU: Intel Xeon E5-2690 v3 @ 2.60GHz (24 core)
  • Memory: 256GB (16x 16GB)
  • Boot: 1TB SATA SSD
  • Data: 3x 480GB SATA SSD

For now I'm just playing around on these two machines (specifically using docker apps and running VM's) until the beta ends.
Then I will think about the hardware I want to use to replace my very old Synology in favour of a DIY HexOS build.
