If there is one thing I really miss in TrueNAS that is available in QNAP, it is the QFile app in iOS and Android and a Webfiler. It gives the ability to manage most files and folder on the NAS locally so anly the command pass over the network. There are several solutions to manage files and folders within one dataset but that is not what is needed.
I hope HexOS can provide something similar to QNAP and Synology. If it is a limitation of ZFS we will have to learn to life with it.
