Just got TailScale up and running and I am really impressed! None of the concepts were tough to figure out but I'm interested in hearing your use-cases and experiences.

Where does it really shine? What sucked about that time you tried to do "x" and it failed miserably?

I'm already thinking about using this at work...I see so much potential.

Where can I begin lol, I use tailscale at work and home. Currently have it set at both of my parents house for their android TV " ONN tv boxes" and they both exit out of my house so we can get around the netflix hulu sharing drama. I also keep it on my phone "Samsung" for the DEX feature that allows me to remote into any of my servers either at the office or the ones my friends have allowed me to collocate at their house. I have also allowed friends and fam access to my now Hexos box for their backups and now plex services . I know that the way i use tailscale is just the tip of the iceberg in what it can do , but all i need is it to be simple

It's very usefull, i really like to have whole server anywhere.

But as noob i was expecting that anyone with no TailScale software can access my server shared files using TailScale IP for example http://tailscale-ip-adress-off-myserv:420/immich/sharedfile.mp4.

Yeah security issue and all that...

Using Tailscale with Immich to be able to upload pictures from my phone to the server anywhere any time is just great.
