ShadowLeRawr Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 So i have jumped though so many rabbit holes and have come to the conclusion that my Raid Card is NOT HBA hex OS will not work if you have a Dell PERC 5/i Raid Card, there is no way to flash it into IT Mode your best hopes is to find a better raid card or better hardware. TheKS Posted January 13 Posted January 13 I have a Power Edge R440. I turned off the RAID control, but still nothing. Should I put it in HBA mode? Quote

TheKS Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) PERC H330 Adapter (Embedded) Actually, it's set to HBA already. Do I change it? Edited January 13 by TheKS Quote
ubergeek Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Do you have each drive set to non-raid in the controller? Quote
ubergeek Posted January 13 Posted January 13 (edited) Thats in IDrac ? You might have to boot into the controller and make sure each drive is set to non raid.. If that option is not there you might be looking at needing to see if there is a firmware flash or the need of a new controller that will allow IT mode Edited January 13 by ubergeek Quote
TheKS Posted January 13 Posted January 13 Thank you. Let me look into it, and I will update you. Quote
