Will buddy backup work with truenas

My brother is comfortable with truenas and won't switch, you know, why pay if you don't have to.

So my question is, will the buddy backup be compatible with truenas?

I think the Buddy Backup stuff is a HexOS addition to TrueNas, and doesn't come in TrueNAS.

 

AS mentioned in this thread, moving from TrueNas to HexOS eventually should become seamless if your brother ever can be convinced to give it a try 😉
