Hey, thanks for your answer! So as long as my boot drive stays the same i can change every other component right? So even when i do a complete new build in the future as long as the boot drive stays the same i should be Fine? I mean when i install it on a M.2 I should be safe since these things pretty much never die… I Hope 😅

Hello everyone, I’m a complete beginner and currently thinking about building my first ever NAS. HexOS seems like the easiest way to get started. I’d like to initially use an old PC as my NAS, and later on, I might build a dedicated NAS system. Now, here’s my question: If I buy a HexOS license now and install it on my old PC, will I be able to transfer it to a new build later on, or would I need to purchase a new license? Thanks in advance!
