  1. I have three applications installed, via TrueNAS admin, that show up on my HexOS control panel. HexOS correctly identified that there were updates available for all three. HexOS gave me an "update" button, which I used. Unfortunately, the apps were disabled, but HexOS attempted to upgrade them anyway and it got stuck in a loop, saying that the apps were updating when they were not. Logging into the TrueNAS admin portal, I could see the warning/error that the apps need to be running to perform the update. Starting the apps fixed the issue, There should be a check in HexOS to verify that the apps are running before triggering an update. Warn the user that the apps need to be running and then not attempt to trigger the update.
  2. Google and the Truenas admin interface for the win.
  3. Looking at this from the HexOS side - I have a 2-disk mirror where one of the drives has failed and the other is warning (let this be a lesson that similar drives brought into service at the same time have a tendency to die around the same time...assuming they survive infant death periods). When I click "Replace", I get this nice popup that says to "Select a replacement from one of your currently matching unused drives below...". Only I don't have any unused drives and none that match the failed one in the system, used or otherwise. I have a perfect replacement sitting here on my desk. What do?
