How important is the storage on the boot drive? I know the pool doesn’t include it but when will the storage of the boot drive be used? Is it to just run HexOS or will it also contain apps?

Not sure if this is a me thing but I have no interest in setting up apps with the TrueNas UI. That’s the entire reason why I got HexOS. So I would like it to be a way to hide apps that are not curated, it could be hidden in settings or something like that. I got very excited when I saw all the apps that were supported but then I realized it was just Immich and plex that were one click apps. So the other apps might as well not be there in my opinion. I know some people prefer it this way that’s why I think there should be a setting to hide them even if is not the default. I want all the apps that I see to be one click even if is a fewer number, hopefully I made sense with this request. Lastly, I’m loving the OS keep up the great work guys!

I know this is a big request but I think it would be awesome if we could install HexOS on a Mac mini M4.

Are there any plans to support mix and matching for drives in a pool? Similar to how Synology has SHR which basically means we can upgrade the pool over time.

Are there any plans for HexOS first party apps? I mean like how Synology has Synology Drive, Photos etc…
