What happens if HexOS boot drive fails?

Would the awnser be as simple as loading up another SSD with HexOS on it and it would recognize the data in the previous HexOS storage pool or is it a total failure and you have to start over Losing your existing data.

If you have a  dedicated boot drive, your storage pool(s) should be fine. I would create a backup of that boot disk using Rescuezilla and keep that backup on both a USB drive and in the cloud such that if there ever WAS  fatilure, you'd have two copies to restore from. Rescuezilla is GUI based and super easy to use.

going along with that I am certain that through trueNas you can reimport the storage pool

Although I don't know if it will detect in HexOS
