Offsite Backup Support (S3 compatible)

I currently use duplicacy in unraid. I would love to be able to backup and restore natively through the OS with compatibility to object storage (S3, backblaze b2, cloudflare r2, gcs, etc). Having this natively would be a huge win.

Yes an easy and straight forward way to do encrypted (ideally even "snapshoted") backups with an integrated solution would be great. While buddy backup might be a cool feature in the long term, when HexOS coverage is bigger, in the short, medium and long term a could backup seems useful. While buddy backup is great, I would not necessarily expect the target audience to have a friend that by chance also runs a HexOS system (at least right away).

i maybe mistaken but I read somewhere they plan this feature in the future - but as a PAID plugin. I hope that means PAID for accounts who were not EA customers. We should get all free for life. S3 is basicly a common feature in Truenas so why pay for that ?
