lostboykev Posted December 4, 2024 Posted December 4, 2024 when attempting to install Plex I get this error. I was able to install the first time but ran into TrueNas UI missconfiguration on my end and wiped and installed fresh. Now having this error on any attempt to install any app. Quote
Lenny Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 (edited) Same here. Can't even complete the first step and configure a folder. Maybe it's my fault but I'm debating learning Truenas. This should be a local from the start but it isn't for some reason. And it creates problems like these which don't seem to be solvable to ppl like me. Edited December 12, 2024 by Lenny Quote
Leetween Posted December 20, 2024 Posted December 20, 2024 Same here! Worked once then never again Quote
jdcoy Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 I'm running a Stripe pool, which I suspect might be causing the issue. As of this post, HEXOS doesn't support Stripe pools, so this is likely why I'm unable to install apps. Quote
Ksanto Posted February 24 Posted February 24 I have this error also after reinstalling HexOS. On the First install it worked. is there any help or advice what to look for on a third installation attempt? Quote

Can you tell us a little more of what's going on as well as what hardware and network you are using? 1 Quote
Ksanto Posted March 3 Posted March 3 Sorry for the late replay, it was indeed fixed after a clean reinstall (wiped the OS drive externaly/speratly). If you still want the Hardware specifications, pleas specify your request. For the Drives I would have to look for the specifc type if you need something beyound the size. Beside this: a Terramaster F2-220 wih 2GB RAM upgrade (so 4 in total), a 60 GB boot SSD on an internal USB and 2 4TB drives in Mirror. I know not recommended nor ideal, but till ende of last year totaly suffuciant for providing my Files in the network and streaming over Plex under tOS befor EOL was declared. regards Ksanto Quote
markrieder Posted March 4 Posted March 4 It was mentioned in another post but unfortunately no fix was made. The problem was that if you uninstall immich for example and want to reinstall it, it will fail to install again because something is left in the cache. If you delete the pool and recreate it, the installation of applications still does not work. The only thing that will help is to reinstall Hex and not uninstall applications or delete the pool because Hex will be unusable again. Quote
