Pretty much everything in the computer is second hand and recycled hardware... Hard drive have over 40 000 hour of runtime

The setup 

Asrock z97 anniversary 

Intel i5 4690k

16gb Ram

SSD munchkin eco 2 250gb

5x western digital black 2tb

530w thermaltake psu

In a bitfenix shogun case

I really need to get a new motherboard, using one of those stupid weird shaped HP OEM with external IO on board, and I can't put it in a real case, stuck with the mini-atx HP one where ive got hard drives duct taped in (ToT) (pics on profile if you wanna see the carnage). What are you gonna use it for?

I could have use a HP workstation with a "i7 6400" (xeon one) but the board was not ATX standard, require custom PSU and the case had only 2 HDD slot... Anyway with my need I don't need the power of that cpu... I only pplan to upgrade my network to 2.5gb

No I didn't since electricity here in Quebec is on of the cheapest around the Globe. I'm not wasting it , but between those two machines I'm pretty sure it will barely change anything.

Glad to see a Quebec folks here...I move in Alberta 11 years ago but originally from Quebec.
