Learner's Server: HP Pavilion a6010n

Ever since I built my first PC a few years ago, I've been itching to get into the home server space. I have an old HP Pavilion a6010n that I'm hoping to use as my first server build.

• 1.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo Processor E4300
• Chipset: Intel 945G
• Memory: 512 MB (x2) DDR2
• Storage: 320 GB 7200 rpm SATA
• 250 watt power supply

I know just enough to do some damage. Are there any glaring concerns here that a newbie like me doesn't see? Obviously need to add some more drives, I'm assuming a power supply upgrade is in order?

8GB RAM is the minimum requirement and the maximum you can put in that is 4GB
