yippy Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 I have an existing server with Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU J3355 @ 2.00GHz and 16Gb of RAM. Is this sufficient for HexOS to run with 4-8Tb of data with redundancy (so 8-16TB of raw storage)? I am hoping to use this very old server to just be a simple backup of my UnRAID main server and to play with HexOS to see if it is a replacement for UnRAID long term. Quote
Magnus Posted December 2, 2024 Posted December 2, 2024 Hi there! It should work just fine for light workloads and general file storage. But don’t expect miracles if you want to run things like Plex which can be quite demanding depending on the type of video files. Quote
