0 dinecoj Posted December 31, 2024 Posted December 31, 2024 You should be able to drop into TrueNAS and configure the Backblaze backup there, but I realize we all want a way to do this within HexOS itself Quote
0 rblew13 Posted April 29 Posted April 29 +1 -> I have used Backblaze through my current Synology unit for years and it has saved me more than once. It would be a great addition to the HexOS system to be able to install/manage this from within the UI. Quote

I just configured one this morning for Dropbox. Once you login to the TrueNAS console itself, to to Data Protection and create a task for Cloud Sync Task. They have premade layouts for Backblaze 1 Quote

I have an all you can eat personal account at the moment and I'm back in at 22 GB. I think the price for this is way more than paying at the moment? Quote

I would like to know the same, pricing for a single PC is great but the B2 option look very expensive to me. I also have the issue that I have 22 GB of data and they really wanna go through the process of re-uploading it. Quote
0 TasmanSkies Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago It is nothing to do with HexOS or TrueNAS - you cannot use a Backblaze Personal Computer Backup account to back up a NAS. https://www.backblaze.com/computer-backup/docs/network-attached-storage-nas-devices If you want to use Backblaze to backup a NAS - any NAS - you need the appropriate account: https://www.backblaze.com/cloud-storage/solutions/nas-backup Quote
