Zimacube and eGPU

I plan to use on my test rig:

• zimacube pro
• eGPU via thunderbolt (nvidia)
• 2 octane 905p
• 6 x 24 TB seagate drives
• 1 x 4 nvme switch card
• 1 x 2 nvme switch card
• 8 x nvme

all working on latest truenas scale

Hey Scyto,

I also have the Zimacube Pro and bought HexOS when it was on BF sale. I am pretty new to NAS systems in general and I am reading up on doing the OS swap. I want to switch over after a few more updates to Hex. I have two questions I hope you can answer though.

Were there any issues/pitfalls getting it set up on the Zimacube that I should know before starting the swap?

Do the Thunderbolt ports work properly for networking/data transfer in Hex like they do in ZimaOS?
