Desktop and mobile apps for sync?

Will there be apps capable of sync between the NAS and the PC / mobile?
This is the only question holds me back switching from my old Synology NAS.

Automatic sync between a local folder <-> NAS folder is essential for many use cases (ecp. for workspaces that I manage).
Also the mobile app would be nice for syncing the new pictures and videos to the NAS, so it could be a complete solution for me (and for my clients).

Right now you can use the built in tools for backup in Windows and Mac. And we are in discussions about more options like native apps, but those would come at a later stage.
