I have been trying to create a network bridge so I can better connect with the VM I have set up. First I tried the "add network bridge" button in the Deck. This didn't work. The server just became unreachable for about a minute, then came back with no bridge. I then tried to do it through the truenas interface (I followed this guide: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XBcAMd_wyI0). This also didn't work, the bridge disappeared in the test configuration stage, as I wasn't able to access the nas. What am I doing wrong here, and how can I make a network bridge?

Hey,
I had the same problem and found out, that I first had to shut down my VM. Then the automatic creation worked.

Afterwards your VM won't boot directly, but that can be solved by going into the "devices" settings of your VM and then update the "NIC" device to use the new br0 network interface.

Kind regards
