InVokin Posted August 30, 2025 Posted August 30, 2025 Just did an install of HexOS. Immediately updated to the latest version based on it asking (24.10.2.4). Was able to create a regular user. It's seeing my pool, everything else seems normal. Now trying to install apps (Plex and Immich) and none of them are working. Keep getting the same error: Quote [EFAULT] Failed 'up' action for 'immich' app I've seen the solutions about setting your DNS in the Network settings, but that's not working for me. I'm based in China so I can't use 1.1.1.1 or 8.8.8.8, but I tried setting them to the DNS my modem would normally use. Tried a few different ones. Tried them with my router as the third option and leaving that blank. Tried restarting the server a bunch of times. Checked in TrueNAS that it's also seeing those nameservers I'm setting in HexOS as options (it is). Anyone know any other solutions? Quote
InVokin Posted September 1, 2025 Author Posted September 1, 2025 Update for the above: Solved the first issue. Problem was being based in China. docker.io is blocked so I had to run things through a VPN to get it working. Was able to install Plex and qBittorent this way. However... Went to install Immich and it seemed to mostly work. I think it downloaded most of what it needed to, but then it failed. Checked the logs and it's not a docker.io error. This is what I'm getting now. Any help? InVokin Posted September 1, 2025 Author Posted September 1, 2025 Second Update: Since it had worked for qBittorrent, went over into TrueNAS and tried to install Immich there. Worked first try, no issues. Seems to be some issue for HexOS. Should I submit this as a potential bug somewhere? Quote
