Hexos deck no longer connecting

Question

Posted (edited)

I have been happily running HexOS for a while, but I am no longer able to access the deck. When I go to deck.hexos.com I get a message "this server is not available". The server itself is fully working, my shares and apps are available (with some small plex issues which are likely on the plex side). I can access the truenas interface by going directly to the local ip. Is there a way to restart the hexos service or fix the issue some other way. I have already tried restarting the nas, including disconnecting power. I have tried looking for some hexos service inside docker or systemctl, but have come up with nothing. I do have a notification in my truenas session, but I'm not sure its related:

Failed to sync TRUENAS catalog: [EFAULT] Failed to clone 'https://github.com/truenas/apps' repository at '/mnt/.ix-apps/truenas_catalog' destination: [EFAULT] Failed to clone 'https://github.com/truenas/apps' repository at '/mnt/.ix-apps/truenas_catalog' destination: Cloning into '/mnt/.ix-apps/truenas_catalog'......

I was able to fix the problem on my own after a bunch of troubleshooting. It turns out my name server was wrong. Changing it to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1 fixed the issue.

I restarted my server and it’s now visible again but no reason for it to don’t be visible before !

any explanation?
