Manopi Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 Figured I'd get in on the beta for HexOS after watching the LTT video, and I understand the servers and staff are getting slammed, but I get the error "You are not permitted to register a user account with this site" when trying to make an account during checkout. Tried the other links to make an account too, but I just can't seem to not get the error. Is it a me-thing or is this just due to server load or maintenance from the high traffic? Quote

I've tried creating an account here on the forums too. Don't mean to double post, but I was able to sign up with an email to a domain I own but not my @gmail.com email. Not ideal but it did work for me if anyone else has the same issue. Quote

It finally verified my account and I went to purchase it today but unfortunately, it’s doubled in price. $99.00 for home use was reasonable but 199.00, that’s a pass. Especially after the issues I has with the website and not receiving any type of reply. If it was still 99.00 I would purchase it Quote

As for the purchase price, I recommend reaching out via email to support@hexos.com. They might be able to help you out, since you made an effort while the $99 sale was on but ran into issues that prevented you from making the purchase. When reaching out please be patient. The team is still VERY small at this point, and with the influx of tickets from 30,000 new users things have been a bit backed up! Quote

I have read about people who just missed the deadline and were given $100 credit to their account so that when they check out and use the credit it is still $99 Quote
