Glen Malan Posted yesterday at 03:39 PM Posted yesterday at 03:39 PM I'm posting here to see if anyone can help me debug this issue. My HexOS server keeps going down at random times in the night and I cannot find any rhyme or reason to why it dies. The PC it's running off of is still powered on but the networking disappears and everything goes offline. I've replaced the power supply, I've tried reading logs and didn't find anything. I've turned on and off XMP. This is driving me crazy Quote
PsychoWards Posted yesterday at 05:58 PM Posted yesterday at 05:58 PM Can you please post the HW specs of your server? Quote
Glen Malan Posted yesterday at 06:48 PM Author Posted yesterday at 06:48 PM Yeah specs are Ryzen 5 1600 8GBs of DDR4 RAM Nvidia GT760 (just used for display out) 3x3TB WD Red Hard Drives (Raid 5) 1x500GB WD Black NVME SSD Gigabyte B450M DS3H Motherboard Quote
PsychoWards Posted yesterday at 08:30 PM Posted yesterday at 08:30 PM You need to deactivate the C-States in the BIOS for Ryzen 1000-3000 CPUs, because this is causing the crashes. Quote
Glen Malan Posted 19 hours ago Author Posted 19 hours ago Just tried that and will see if that fixes my issues. Thanks! Quote
