Hello I got Plex all installed and working even have transcoding setup for my Nvidia p1000 however when I try to watch anything locally or remotely I keep buffering like my connection isn't fast enough if I turn the quality down to 1080p it works fine. My computer is more than capable of handling 4k content and I have 1g speeds all with wired connections. Any ideas??? I used to run Plex on this exact PC just with a wd black 6tb and with Windows and it worked flawless.

I'm on a fresh install of hexos with 4 brand new 4tb wd red plus drives.

Did you ever figure this out? This is happening to me too and sometimes Plex tells me that I don't have a direct connection when I'm literally watching on the same network locally.

@NEO101oh my freaking God thank you thank you thank you. I have been digging for days trying to figure this out. I could not get anything to play directly from my server while everything is hardwired at my home. It always used Plex Relay and limited me to 2mb/s. This did the trick. Glad I kept digging and found this thread.
