Feature Questions

Sorry if these are stupid questions, or like, if they've already been answered a ton.

They all apply to the lifetime license option.

 

1: It says on the feature page it's a license per server. That's clear enough. But what if that server explodes or you do a hefty upgrade? Is it hardware locked, or can you swap it to the fresh, with the rule of only having 1 applying so the other one loses access?

2: Do you have to use it ASAP, or can you wait? I'm looking at setting one up, but I won't be able to for a while, but the price! If it's possible, I'd absolutely wanna get it now for later.

3: Can it be accessed remotely for uploads? My usecase is primarily going to be acting as a vault for family photos and videos, and a place to get them all organized, and family being able to upload from their various places(We're sadly spread out pretty widely) would be super useful.

 

Sorry if this is all super basic stuff, I'm new to server/NAS stuff, and that's why HexOS is particularly appealing to me. It's a highly user ease of use focused experience, and that's exactly what I need.

Hi there! I hope you found some answers elsewere, but essentially:
1) You can move your license to another server
2) No, a lifetime license lasts a lifetime, use it whenever.
3) this depends on what apps you use and possibly new features from us in the future.
