Amkof Posted January 3 Posted January 3 This issue seems to come up anytime I try to play an HEVC movie/tv show from my Plex Server. The error I get is "Conversion failed. A required codec could not be found or failed to install.". I have gone through all the common fixes I could find online. Those include: Port forwarding Creating a user with full read/write access to the entire dataset and running Plex under that user Reinstalled Plex through both the HexOS deck and the TrueNAS interface Enabled Host Network use Ensured claim token is entered in the docker Needless to say I am frustrated and out of possible solutions. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated. Quote
Mascot Posted January 3 Posted January 3 (edited) Have you tried removing the ".tmp" extension as suggested here? I had to do that before transcoding would work for me. Edited January 3 by Mascot 1 Quote
