HexOS on TRUENAS-MINI-3.0-X+

I have a TruNAS Mini XL+ running TruNAS 13.0 Stable. 

I would like to switch to a more user friendly experience. Previously, I had Synology but the hardware would usually fail just about 1yr after the warranty expired.

1) DO I need to fully back up my TruNAS data and then install HexOS?

2) How much does HexOS cost? How do I install it?

1) at the moment there is no pool migration but it should come in a future update (with no eta) so if you can wait for that it might be easier for you. 

2) hexos is $199 as a promotional price currently, I'm not sure how much longer that price will last
